Joy James Elementary Carnival

Thursday, October 2, 2009, was a fun morning at Joy James Elementary School.  Mrs. Baganz, Mr. Fox, Mr. Rosales and Mr. Johnson had a hot dog eating contest.  Mr. Fox won, but due to a technicality (Mrs. Baganz and Mr. Johnson played a trick by not eating any hot dogs) both Mr. Fox and Mr. Rosales won a free hot dog for each student in their classes.  This fun event was to promote the Joy James Elementary School Carnival being held on Friday, November 6, 2009 from 6:00-10:00 p.m.  The Carnival will be held in the field behind the school.  We are very excited this year to have a petting zoo, pony rides, and a rock wall to climb.  Of course, we will also have games, bounce houses, hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn, and all the things you would enjoy and expect at a carnival.  The Theme this year is “Monkey Business Around the World”.  For more information, please contact Carnival Chair Barbara Baganz at 817-252-2531.
